Where is day time running light?

I am not sure where is day time running light. (My is canada version) I checked manual and didn't find it. (In the image below) I guess it's called "Clearance light" here???

When DTRL will go on? I think it's when the car is running and the headlight is off right? Is it legal to have in blue color?

It is the fog lights.. #6 You will notice them on when you are behind another vehicle. Look in their reflecting bumper or whatever. They stay on even when the car is in park as long as the engine is running

This is correct. Us Canadians use the fog as DRL. And for the clearance lights (or running lights) they will turn on whenever your headlight is on. I really don't see a main purpose of them other than for looks.

And to find out if "Blue" is a legal colour please check with "Transports Quebec" for more info. They are not legal in Ontario.

Thanx mcube3!! So as you said the "Clearance light" doesn't have main purpose...do you think it's fine to have it in blue? is there any regulation for this one?

It all depends on the province and the actual cop you're dealing with. Some will say it is legal and some will let you go. I don't think cops will pull you over just for the lights. They'll usually pull you over for things like speeding...etc then add the lights (if they think it is illegal) onto the ticket.

Hey, guys! The problem is in terminology.. Lights #6 are actually called driving lights, because they have clear lenses. Fog lights suppose to have yellow lenses for better view in fog Hope it help...
