Huh? All of the electricity is routed back to the negative side of the battery. I don't like the negative terminal as a hub because of the shear waste of wire and the high difficulty in getting X amount of wires to the battery compartment, but I don't think there will be any performance drawbacks from doing that.smockers83 wrote:I dunno if I would put that piece on the battery, personally I would be a little hesitant. All the kits I've seen that have a battery cable only have one cable to the battery, not 5. Plus, with car stereos and what not, you're connecting cables to the positive post, not the negative.
I would be hesitant because I don't think that's how it's supposed to be setup. I was hesitant because I didn't think those pieces went together like BAD said. When installing car stereos and amps, you hook up your power via the positive post and ground it via the chassis, particularly for amps, in response to suby.Sentientbydesign wrote:Huh? Where do you think the chassis is connected to?smockers83 wrote:

That's the point of grounding (well, one of them anyway)smockers83 wrote:I know it all comes back, but I mean it just wouldn't make sense to have all those cables on the - post.
