Well my car wouldnt start today, the car turns over just wont catch. So I noticed that right below my throttle body the hose on the far left was not connected to anything, does anyone know where this hose goes and will it help with my problem?

look for whatever is not connected. fuel should go like this:fuel tankpumphardline all the way to engine bayrubber hosefuel filterrubber hosefuel rail

something like that, there's a fuel pressure regulator in there somewhere...

If it's right below the throttle body, it's probably either the line going in or out of the fuel filter. Does fuel come out of it when you turn the key to on?

if the coolant line was out and not the fuel, either it's a different problem all together or the car would catch and run. for 10 minutes. then explode.

My suspiscion is that this is not a fuel line, as the fuel doesn't come into the fuel rail near the throttlebody. I fit was fuel you would smell it, not to mention you would see an enormous amount of fuel spilled into the passenger side of the engine bay. I would say that it is a vacuum line. A vacuum leak can keep your car from starting. Check it out. By the way, the fuel flow is:Tank/Pump/Hard Line/F.I. Hose/Fuel Filter/F.I. Hose/Fuel Rail/Fuel Pressure Regulator/F.I. Hose/Hard Line/Tank

If is a S shaped hose goes into your intake tub after the MAFIts your Idle Air hose

Looking at the throttle body, at the lower right side of it and connects to a tube that goes to the end of the engine, between the engine and intake manifold

the only lines that go in the throttle body are coolant, Canister vent, BOV, FPR. Thats the way mine is at least. The canister one is the small l shaped fitting right on the bottom of the throttle body on the opposite side from the engine. The BOV runs off the BIG fitting on top. The FPR runs off of the smaller fitting on top. (That is how mine is if memory serves)

None of those things should keep the car from starting. It might run like crap but it will start with them all unplugged (at least mine will.)

If you aren't getting fuel chances are the system isn't primed (assuming the pump comes on). Turn the car to accessory and off about 10 times and then try to crank it.
