I spoke to someone at Megan yeaterday and was told that the y-pipe comes from the G37's. Is that true? He said you really have to bend it and work it to make it fit.

You shouldn't need to bend anything. I installed an OEM G37 Y-Pipe on my 2007 M35x with almost zero issue.

So you just got a stock y-pipe from the G37x? What year? Whats the best way to get it?

It was a while ago, I don't really remember. I wanna say it was like a 2006 G37x for my 2007 M35x. I got it on EBay. If you look at the part numbers for a G37 (I'm not even sure it has to be an X) and an M35 y-pipe, they are the same. If I recall, the only thing I had to do was get some bolts? My memory is real hazy now as I did that a few years ago.

Or maybe it was that. I remember it being 1 year off the year of my car...don't remember if it was +/- though lol. Do a search, I'm pretty sure I posted about it.

Here is the thread I'm thinking of:

Ordered my Y-Pipe from Ebay. The G37 OEM pipe was going for $135.
