Where does the negative battery cable bolt to on a 92'?
Where does the negative battery cable bolt to on a 92'?
Just got done changing out my motor that had a cracked head, but can't find where the negative battery cable bolted to. Does it bolt to the chassis in a specific spot or does it bolt to the block in a specific spot or what? Thanks.

strut tower area passenger side, kinda close to the overflow tank. should be a hole there.

The ground from the battery goes to the intake manifold.

it bolts to the manifold and the body. look in the FSM, it'll show you exactly where it is

I looked all through the my FSM and couldn't find it. Its the negative battery cable and it comes down and is held on to the battery tray, then it comes done more and I don't know where it goes from there. the intake manifold is also a good place too. but me personally i prefer the body.i recomend a nismo ground kit. makes your car happy.!

So officially in the S13, the negative battery cable connects to 2 spots. The first spot coming from the battery is at the base of the battery tray. This grounds the body of the car. The rest of the cable connects to the bottom curve of the intake manifold. It's bolt hole is right next under where the throttle body cable hooks onto, can't miss it. Bolt hole, flat spot, yeah, right there. Hope that helps!
