I was curious if most of you out there buy your wheels and tires online or from a conventional brick and mortar type company. I have called around and for the same tires and wheels it looks like brick and mortar is about 35-40% higher in price.

Also this is the exact setup I'm thinking of going with. What do you think and will it fit without any rub and an eibach pro kit drop? Thanks again guys!

These are the specifications. I want to make sure these will fit even with the offset. Also what size tires do I buy?

Are these good tires? Nexen N3000 245/35/20 $117 each? Lastly whats a fair price to have the tires installed on wheels with tire pressure sensor/ balanced/ and mounted?

Sorry my questions are all over the place.

Nexen N3000 are not spectacular tires. If you are set on that tire size, I would rather get Goodyear Eagle GT all seasons for $139 each or Dunlop Direzza DZ101 summer tires for $137 (pick if you need all-season or summer tires) from TireRack.

I'm not certainly set on that tire size. Do you recommend a different tire size for those wheels.

Most places will want $30 (or more) per tire to mount balance 20" wheels/tires & most likely will charge a $5 per wheel TPMS fee.

Here's link to tireracks local installer price info

Those are big heavy wheels add to them Nexen (entry level) tires and your stopping distances are going to go up. Which isn't much of an issue if you're after show and not go.

Though you'll want to familiarize your self with how much longer it takes to come to a complete stop in a "panic stop" situation.

Is anyone familiar with the website I posted for buying wheels and tires? And does that tire size sound good?

Discount Tire is where I got my wheel/tire setup. I narrowed my wheel choice to 2 and they worked on different tire setups on each wheel. They also had prices quoted in each setup. I had about 3 tire choices and about 6 combinations to choose from. I was very pleased with how they treated me and what I ended up with.

I ended up with Konig Illutions 18x8.5 40 offset Goodyear Eagle GT 225 45. one set up I had 255 in back/235 in frt but decided against.
My next tire will be the same brand but 245 all around.

I went to a good ole brick and mortar Discount Tire shop. My main reason for going there was they were the only place that was selling the wheels that I wanted (at least at the time, not sure now.) Plus they had one displayed on the wall when I walked in which was great because seeing it in person solidified my decision.

Also, to go along with mmkeller, I had a great experience too. After telling them the wheels that I wanted, they then let me know all the different size tires that I could safely put onto the wheels as well as the price of each. I give them :dblthumb:
