Sorry if this topic has already been covered.

I like to go driving from time to time, just a little cruising up in the mountains or what not, such as Azusa Canyon. Saturday nights me and a couple other guys just like to go up that way and cruise and hang out at the top. It's a nice and relaxing drive nothing to crazy.

I was just wondering if anyone on the forums went cruising from time to time, whether it be canyons or mountain passes, and if so where do you guys go to?

Basically I'm just trying to figure where there are some nice chill places to drive around. So if you guys have any input feel free to post where you guys go.

-Mike

turnbull, you stated azusa (gmr) mt baldy, ortega....and others..... lol i would name more but i dont want it to get burnt out by a bunch of ricers..

i used to go up to turnbull everynight, not so much anymore since there were lots of idiot ricers who love to race down w/ their lights off "thinking" its initial d

I see, yea i feel where your coming from, racing especially initial d status is pretty bogus. Thanks though i was thinking about driving turnbull Friday night just go cruising i heard it's pretty a pretty windy road which sounds pretty fun. Yea i like the cruising through gmr on Saturday nights it's pretty quite for the most part around 12am. I dunno there's something about cruising through mountain passes that i really enjoy it calms my nerves and what not. Thanks for giving me the heads up about turnbull I'll be sure to watch out for crazy ricers with their lights off!-Mike

Oh yea yang i was supposed to introduce myself to you at one of the upcoming Irvine meets, sorry dude haven't had a chance to drive down that way because of school and all, but for sure when i head down I'll be sure to say whats up.

haha w3rd, you going tonight??i doubt i am... need to save gas/money for helmet!!

but after june 3rd ill be down to cruise w/ you up turnbull, its not too much fun unless if you get sideways...this is how i say it..gmr = very tight grip action, turnbull = wide drifting turns also w/ turnbull there has been lots of cops recently..cause of the ricers that peel out and revv and cause lots of trouble up there...stupid idiots dont realize that there are houses rite next to it...

That's why I stopped going to Turnbull...haha. My friend got a fix-it ticket for his exhaust, and couple of my other friends and I got a parking ticket for parking on the side of the road, waiting for my friend who got the fix-it ticket...

yea so turnbull was basically, short, but on the upside a pretty fun drive cause it was a really windy road. I'm glad i went to check it out though, although i think I'll stick to cruising at gmr it's definitely longer and more fun. Anyways thats just my two cents on trunbull canyon. O yea and there was dirt on the road which was a little sketchy, but eh there's dirt on the road at gmr too sometimes. All in all cruising around was pretty fun let me know if anyone on the forums wants to go cruising on the weekends.
