hey, I waswondering where you guys get your oil feed kis? I was going to order one from jgs, but im thking -4an is going to be to much oil, and i think i would wratehr have something like a -3an , or something that will feed less oil. last time i used a -4an, my car was smoking like crazy due to a bad turbo seal, so where can i get a -3an feed line? and what size oil fed lines are you guys running?

Got mine from cheapturbolines.com - they have kits for most engine/turbo combos, and include a correct BSPT-to-NPT adapter for the oil supply side. I don't like that they only include a bulkhead oil pan fitting for oil return line - hope it won't leak. If it leaks, I'll have to replace it with a weld-on bung.

You can also try JGS (http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/trboil.html).

Also, I didn't really like to have a bunch of fittings/tees/adapters hanging off the block on the oil supply side, so I got oil take-off fitting from TunerToys (http://shop.vendio.com/funinfeenix/item ... index.html) - BSPT male for the block, BSPT female for the oil sender switch, and 2 NPT females (one plugged) for oil supply line and optional oil temp/pressure/whatever gauge.

i'll have to ask my friend, but you're looking at about 35-40 bucks shipped... if you can find the correct fittings at home depot you can make your own. sometimes the threads are just a little different than the stock thread size. on mine (i ordered a kit) we had to tap the sender fitting just like a tiny amount to make it fit right. knowing that you may have to tap it and what not may incourage you to buy the t fittings at home depot and lines somewhere and put it together yourself. it's easy to do, and will be the exact same brass fittings you would get in a kit. if i had known all this before hand that is what i would have done for sure. it will cost a few bucks for all the fittings and a few bucks for the lines. usually the oil return lines people provide are too short anyway, so i had to get another one. the oil feed lines and everything else was fine though.

something else to look at: the sender unit's location has a second little hole just below it that is plugged up with a screw or alan bolt or something like that. i'm not 100% sure, but i think you can use that hole also, just in case you dont want to tap your original hole. like i said i'm not sure, so you have to check it out. maybe someone else knows.

The fitting in the block is a BSPT not a NPT. The BSPT thread pitch is smaller then the NPT. So if you use the NPT you will have to force it in by taping it. I learned that the hard way. If it were me I would just get a kit from Boostdesigns that uses BSPT it is only 80bucks and be done with it.

-3an is fine without a restrictor. The line itself functions as a restrictor. Just get a kit. I would pay for mine again just because its one less thing you have to worry about.

What size for the oil return? I have -6AN from the Boost Designs setup, however I've heard that -8AN is the optimal size for a t3/4. -Jeff
