is this an 89 240SX with 89 KA??? The connector look the same size in the pic.....??

Anyway the male plug coming from the sensor is the coolant temp sensor....it should go into a female connector that heads up towards the engine top....the computer uses the coolant temp to regulate the air fuel ratio......

the only thing i can think of is i had the a/c system in there and thers a grey clip for that, so that could be one, but i cant figure out the coolant one

By looking at pictures in your web page I can see that you done some major wiring relocation, all your AC connections are on the driver side of your engine, and the connector for the compressor is a lot smaller than what you are showing on the pic, and thats on the passenger side anyway.....maybe due to the relocation??? If you have spare connectors and want to do a quick check...stick a voltmeter on that sucker and turn the AC on you should get a reading....then you can disregard that connector and maybe fine the one you need by process of elimination...it will be safer than "Plug and Play" and burn something...

for the ka24e the sensor and sendor are both above the thermostat, i just replaced both.

thats something about air conditioning, ac control or something. look this or the last sport compact car, thats were they wired there electric fans, and they say its something fo rthe ac
