where do these 2 hoses go???

it's the valve right with the power trasistor. 2 small hoses go in there.Can someone tell me where they go?

ohh, thats just the stock boost controller, no need for that, and you cant adjust it anyhow, so youll be stuck on 7lbs either way. I just left it there and unclipped the connectors

Thats not the boost controller. That little doodad is worthelss nonetheless though. The idea of it is that when you are in a hot-start condition, the computer opens that little valve up so that the FPR (fuel pressure regulator) vacuum is refrenced to the atmosphere as opposed to the manifold. When this is done, more fuel is added. I think everyone has removed it and nobody has any hotstart problems.

so we dont need that whole thing?? I lengthened the wires on it and attached it on the driver side strut post....where the stock KA IACV bolted up in..

It's completely un-nessisary. I wouldn't trash it just in case, but mine (and many others) don't have it hooked up and the car works just fine. The only time it is used is when you are starting the car when it's already hot.

edit: did they ever come without it? all the ones ive seen have it except for mine. mine definately never had it from the factory, that transistor had never been removed.
