I got a dana 30 front axel from a 93' jeep an i'm planning on using it to SAS my 01' frontier se reg. cab.

but I wanted to know how to find the correct welding spot for the leaf spring hangers?

I've seen an episode on TRUCKS on spiketv where he bolted the springs to the axel then placed it under the frame and lowered the truck on to the springs and marked the ends.
but that was a chevy truck and chevy axel so I dont know if doing it that way would be correct.

any suggestions/answers would be cool!!
THANKS! :)

there are quite a few websites that have tons of info for SAS's. the D30 axle IMO isn't a good axle for the swap though, it just isn't strong enough.
