Check out Takara Motors - They're a sponsor here, Sean may be able to help.

Gonna be a tough search tho!

Got some pics?

I found it but it is pretty rough ie fenders hood and trunk are suffering from rust. overall it is complete I was just wanting to see if parts will be available or if Is hould just let it rust away.

By the way it is 100%legal it was imported in the 80's.

I will take pics tomorrow

OUCH.

I've seen bad rust, but that there is damn near UN salvageable.

I'll bet the frame is history...

Yikes!

Somebody call Sockington, he's the professor.

Although as cool as that'd be to restore, I also imagine that it's beyond the point of no return.

Damn shame.

But to answer your question, if you imported one of those tomorrow, you could drive it legally under a "historic" registration.

I figure my dad has a vaccum mold and a couple rolls of carbon fiber. Ditch the drive line and update it with an rb20det or 25 then drive it a little. It will never be restored or "original" but still a rare and fun car when it is done.

The pics actually make it look a lot worse than it is. I had a 39 chevy that was a lot worse when I got it and it turned out a++

Yikes body is rough. Looks more like a gc210 car than a KEN MARY gc110. Would by the tail lights from you if interested...

That is a Skyline Japan. Probably closer to '79 or '80. Definately not a '73.

^^

Yeah, it's not a Kenmari.

It's the one right before the DR30, but I don't recall the chassis code. I'm sure that ContinentalDrift or someone would know.

Awesome find. You don't see that happen at all. Usually old american cars rotting away, but rare Skylines? Good Luck man!

Looked it up. Looks like you've got a 1980 HGC211. Here's some pics of what it looked like. There looks like there was two models: 2000GT and 2000GT-EL
