So I am attempting to do my first system install, have the head unit working great, have the RCAs and everything running fine, but where is the best place to run the power cable through? I am guessing I am going to want to run it on the passenger side (since that is the side the battery is on) but I cant find an easy place to run it. Any help is appreciated.

You might have to "make" a place for it... Be sure to check the backside for any impotrant parts, and use a rubber grommet.

ok, that is kinda what I figured. I have taken off the glove box and everything around it, so I can see the metal between the engine compartment and the interior. My install kit came with a grommet (supposed to make a 1/2 inch hole for the grommet) i was just wanting to make sure there wasnt another way. I will wait until tommorrow incase someone knows of an easy access point.

Here's a thread from a few months back that discussed the exact topic.

Check out my writeup on Q45.org. Scroll down to the bottom

There is a simple place on the drivers side..... Its where the hood cable goes, and you can shove it in there... it worked great! Very easy.....
