yeah...i know both of you guys are on the org but i'm not gonna go there. seems like a forum for a bunch of jealous haters. i'm thinking maybe 00VI instead, i heard there's no bottom end loss. plus around $300 for a manifold is crazy to ask. my wife's father's side of family is from iran so maybe i'll have better/cheaper luck with them

The 00vi is not a straight swap just to let you know. It has better gains than a mevi but theres more work there also. I went mevin because im boosted so i dont really care a bout the lil loss they say i may have, i dont see it. Just post a wtb add and youll find it. Also the 00vi isnt cheaper either. fyi for ya

less than $200 if i pull it off myself. i have a good junkyard guy here. he let me pull off a saab turbo with all the trimmings for $70. was supposed to go on my corolla i know it's a lot more work but with rain everyday for a month ( snow past 2 days ) and no garage it's hard to work on the car...so i sit at home and think what i can put on it. btw what's your mpg with the turbo?

Depends on driving habit. I have goten 27mpg highway 20 city when driving like i have sense but i have seen as low as 8mpg going all out. So it deff varies.

27 highway's damn good. i thought since more fuel pumped you'd get much less. my eng is out of tune so i don't know if i even get 25.

well a turbo or super will help the car become more efficient when not being heavily used so i get pretty good milage till i drive like a ***.
