Where do I install the signal cables to the head unit?

OK, I am a novice to amp installation. This is my first system installation. So far I have connected the power cable and ran the cable along the floorboards to the trunk. I am having a problem finding where to connect the signal cables to my head unit. Where do I connect the signal cables to the head unit? Any help would be appreciated!!

You need to add more details. Are you talking about your Stock Headunit, or aftermarket. If it is stock, do you have the BOSE Stereo or not? Are you talking about your Amp Turn on wire or RCA's?

It is a Bose head unit. And like I said I am a novice, so pardon my ignorance. I think the signal wires are the RCA wires. It looked like there was no port on the back of my stock Bose head unit for my signal RCA wires when I took the head unit out last night.

If that is the case then you have to use "Speaker Level Inputs" on your Amplifier and tap the rear speakers. I had this configuration on my original setup, but it won't hit as hard or sound as clear as with an aftermarket H/U.

So your saying I need to connect my amp to my rear speakers?? I am not fully understanding this...

If possible is there anyone that could walk me through the amp installation to a stock Bose head unit step by step, like clarifying where the signal wires go, the RCA and turn on wires.
