I have a SR20DET in a 1991 240sx hatch, I have 3 new gauges , oil presure , oil tempature, and water tempature. My question is where on the block can i install the sending units or are there sensors in place that i can tap off of?

I apprciate any advise, Thanks.

spl parts sells an adaptor that goes in the radiator hose for installing a water temp gauge. for oil pressure, you can use a splitter were the stock oil pressure sending unit is, and for oil temp, you should go with a sandwich plate that mounts between the oil fiter and the block, because it needs to have oil moving past it, not just pressing on it. (spl also sells that)

http://www.splparts.com click on silvia 89-94, click on hardware, then fittings and pluming. the sandwich is the 2nd one down, the coolant adaptor is the 4th one, and the tee is near the bottom. the tee will work for the oil pressure gauge, but not temp since there is no flow across the sensor.
