I've had mine repaired at a place called Recon Wheel and Bumper in Ontario. I know of another place in Gardena that I've heard good things about but have no personal experience with. http://www.boltonsclassicwheels.com/index.html

Just curious - what did they charge you? I scraped my right rear stock 18" (06 M35) going through a crater that was hiding under a pothole here in Atlanta. The dealer told me for $175 they could repair it 'good as new'. I haven't done it yet - but curious what other places are changing (even from other parts of the country).

I've scraped up my passenger side front and rear wheels as well as I got used to the low profile tires and parking as close to the curb as I'm used to. Does anyone know of a good wheel repair place in San Diego? Thanks much, cbw

There should be a class action suit against Infiniti regarding the wheels.

If you just happen to glance a curb, or go to a car wash, the wheels are damaged.

The problem is the rim protector on the tires are non-existent.

It's a shame that they have not addressed this problem.

I guess a class action suit against incompetent drivers would not get as far.

Maybe these guys could go back to steel wheels and 80 aspect ratios?

Thanks for the tip in (or just outside) Atlanta. And for the record, my damage was not caused by poor parking habits, rather poor road construction. Maybe I should try billing the City of Atlanta?!? Yeah - that's a good idea ...

Actually, that is not a bad idea! Many cities have funds for exactly this purpose, I believe. Certainly true in California. I assumed that the damage was self-inflicted ... sorry about that!

I know of at least two people (that I can recall), asked for and received repair costs to fix their windshields which cracked from hitting potholes really hard , and one got their wheel replaced too.

Check with the local City Hall ... you may find that they can do something about it - even in Atlanta.

It's definitely worth a phone call (or eight in the case of Atlanta City Hall). Thanks again for the tip!

I live in the NE and I now have the same wheel scratch issue. I am told by the local "body shops" that the 2007 M35X 18" OEM rims are not in "circulation". Anyone have an idea for a North Easterner in PA? I have Small scratches from driving in the "ice and snow"....Nothing into the metal at all.
