try a normal 240 harness, maybe if you list what's so special about a JDM one you would get more help. I assumed you had JDM engine, what's in your interior that is so JDM it requires a JDM loom?...

Do you have an actual 180SX or is this just a RHD converted 240? Since you're looking for a RHD harness, I'm gonna assume either you have a real 180 that has had a completely destroyed harness, or you converted your 240 and need the JDM harness to make things work.

You will have an amazingly tough time finding the harness in one piece. Most clips over here will have cut the interior harnesses, but you should be able to source the from chassis harness. This will give you everything from the SMJ forward.

I would call up a place like Venus Auto and see if they can't help you on your project as they have connections to salvage yards in Japan. SR20store.com might be able to help you as well.

yes, i have a real 180sx. a friend had it shiped over years ago and sold it to me last year. he was making it into a drag car and tore everything out and sold it. thats why i need the rhd harness. the 240sx wire harnesses wont work due to a difference in some of the wiring clips plus id like to get some oem parts back in it. i already redid the interior of the car and i am at a standstill cause i need the harnesses before i can drop the engine in. im looking for maybe a website that might help.

I can check our JDM FAST Monday for you, but I doubt Nissan even has any anymore...

If they do, be prepared to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

otherwise, keep your eyes open, and hopefully you get lucky

It will cost more than the car's worth to order the harnesses brand new from Nissan Japan.

Converting shouldn't be that big of a problem TBH. It's a matter of sitting down with a multi-meter, a service manual, and the harness on the floor.

What you could do is do a floor board mock up in your garage to place the harness in the spots you want the wires to run. Then unloom the harness and make your change over. It will require lengthening and shortening of the wires, but should be doable. Since you're working with a 180, you'll have an easier time making a USDM harness work with the car since our 240s share more in common with the electricals than we do with Silvias.

Converting the USDM on is nearly impossible! You will not have all the wiring for the DCC, and colors do not match up so you will be running around in circles... proabbaly for months and it will still not be complete.

email [email protected]... he WILL be able to help you if he has a spare from a parts RHD conversion. Normally he sells them complete with the RHD Conversion, but sometimes he has spares, if he doesnt, you will have to pay a premium for him to break up a RHD Conversion

I know this thread is a month old, but since it has been bumped...

I'm pretty positive that Russell at NissanParts.cc could get you one- it would be expensive and you would have to wait for it to get here from Japan, but it sounds like he should have access to them.

To continue bumping this thread.

Use the USDM harness, and replace plugs that are different with USDM counterparts or GM weather connectors.
