where do i buy an SR20DET? HELP

I currently own a 92 Nissan Maxima, and I want to sell it to a friend and buy a 240sx and do the SR20DET I need to know where i can buy one and which one to buy S-13? I also want some oppinions on which year 240 i should buy if you have one that looks bad *** then post it here and persuade me. I want to know how difficult it is to swap because I am in college for an automotive degree and am curious if it is realistic to do it myself. also i need to know if it swaps onto the stock 5 spd transmission of the 240 and if not then what do i do. please help me I have been searching for some info but I have a slow *** connection. and i hate spending five minutes accessing a sight and it not having what i'm looking for. so I don't know much about this stuff yet so if you know and have some time to kill some info would be awesome or even a good web sight suggestion would be a start. If you don't know what your talking about i'd rather you not post anything, But if you do know please help. Thanks.

I kinda shared the same experience. I sold my done up 91 maxima for a s13 that is now SR powered with the JDM s13 front conversion. I am completely happy with the outcome. I recommend heavy throttle for most your sr needs. Whatever you do dont buy your motor from JSpecauto.com. I got a motor with a blown head gasket, frozen turbo, and bad ECU. and no refund at all. Except he gave me another ECU. Its all good tho, I now have a Trust head gasket capable of hadle high boost. The year 240 you should buy depends on what you goal is; 1/4 mile, drift, looks, etc. I would also reccommend a front clip if you can afford or get your hand on one. Believe me I learned the hard way. email me for any questions
