I was gonna search for this but I guess the search function isnt working so I had to post.....

Anyways, I want to buy a decent set of meshies for my 90 FB' but where do I start to look? What do I look for? And finally how much should I spend?

Please post your setup, your sizes, and where you got them and how much you spent on them.

Thanks

Mesh wheels are everywhere.Look at the online used wheel shops.Look really carefully at local wheel and hub cap shops. You WILL BE surprised by what you find there. Look at all local tire and wheel shops too.

I've found all my meshes at the junk, payed no more than $150 for each of these sets.

Rikkens 15x7, got these from a Cressida.

Enkies 15x7, only found 3 at the Junk but good enough.

Recently found these at the junk. 16x7 Rikkens

so your telling me you found those at the junkyard? If so, did they come stock on whatever car you got them off of? Those last ones look aftermarket to me. Congrats on the finds though, damn good!

note that he is from fresno, where there are undoubtedly some better cars in the junkyards than most of us have available. interested in the enkeis and rikens...

Well, gold or a light bronze. I think that the metallic paints would give better results. You're right, black with polished lip is very hot. But I just think those gold meshies with a polished lip would look SUPER clean on your car man.

Yeah, plus if I don't like it, which i'm sure I will, I can change the color :P... here's another pic, they just came in a few days ago... I was surprised how big the lip is for these... they're pretty haggard right now, I'm going to go powerwash them later today, and probably paint and polish them.. then I'll get some high res pics.. and hopefully have them on my car in a few weeks.. gotta buy tires

I think your wheel is bent.Pay the $150 to have it trued by a wheel machinist/restoration and refinishing shop. Well worth it.

Oh yeah.. looks like it in the pic... I was told it should be fine, I guess I'll find out when I get the tires mounted.

$150 for one wheel? i'd just buy another one.. or four. lol
