I'm setting up my gauges today and I'm wondering where most people tap in to read the oil pressure? The oil sender seems like it would be a good place, but I already have the oil feed for my turbo in there. Are there any other accessable places people know of? (S14 KA)

Thats about the only place I can think of off the top of my head. I will take a look at one of the KAs I have on stands at work and see if there is another place.

I'm pretty sure that without drilling the stock oil sender port id the only spot to tap.

maybe just add another tee between the stock pressure switch and your first tee.

I looked really well today at a motor on a stand and see no other place to mount a sending unit.

Most people I've seen use sandwich adapters where their oil filter goes, that is the only easy way I've seen on a KA

for sandwich adaptors, some guy on ebay makes them cheap, and spl parts makes one, and then I believe someone said a ford 302 will fit too. there was a thread on that but I can't find it at the moment.I'm looking for one myself, because I've decided to hell with all this bspt npt T's and all that ****... it looks ghetto, its prone to leaking, and if it breaks your turbo/motor goes boom.

I did a nice little write up on my pain staking process of doing my oil pressure gauge.

The adapter can be found at http://www.tunertoys.com for twenty bux. More info is in the thead link that i posted above. Enjoy
