I just noticed that cheap turbo's prices went up a little like $30 for a T3/TO4E.

I'm not sure what turbo I should pick. I am looking for something that would make 200hp at the wheels. Would stock injectors work for this? I know there is a chart of injectors as a sticky and that indicates that it isn't possible. What parts would you guys recommend for a complete setup with intercooler?

I would think a pipe aimed at incoming air at 65MPH would net you 200hp, is the KA that lowdown on power? How much power does your car come with stock? A CA18DET stock T2-small will support that power figure so basically anything T25 or larger and you are good to go for 200hp.

That would net 200whp? Perhaps I should set my goal a little higher.....like 250whp

I looked around and 200 seems to be the first step of most kits. They are using turbos that should be capable of more though. That leads me to beleive they are regulated down to that for some other reason, likely inadequate fuel availability on the motor. Turbo selection is important, you should think into the future to avoid having to buy the same part twice. Most turbos will get you 200hp, do you have a manifold yet or are you wanting to buy a kit?

I guess the prices on ww.cheapturbo.com isn't that bad. I was initially looking at the IAP kit, but at 2999 for an entry level is a bit out of my range. Plus, even though have an installation guide, i'm probably too noobish to install it myself.I have a garret exhaust manifold, but don't know if it is for turbo applications.

Sorry about getting off topic. I don't post on forums often so I didn't know about this rule. It is your thread and I will make another one, but I wish you could have said it in a more professional manner.

mule, go to your happy place man, cut the new guy a little slack, leave some teeth so they can identify the body. Cheapturbo has the best prices I have seen, when I go shopping for a new turbo I am going there.

AMD, what Mule is so diplomatically calling your attention to is called a thread jack and it makes people angry. Don't sweat it, you know now The first time you post a question that has been asked more than once somebody might post "search newb"! which is a reference to the "search" button at the top right of the screen. It is a great way to find stuff.Don't let the wackier members scare you, we are all warm and fuzzy it's just some of us didn't get enough hugs when we were kids. Enjoy you time here, we get all types.
