Where did you buy your HID kits?

All things Altima Coupe.

newb here so yea need guidance..searched the forum and got nothing. Do you think buying them online is a good idea? if yes, any recommended websites?

so do you just buy the HID Bulb Replacements or do you need anything else? I went to their HID kits section and theres alot of stuff there. I need high/low and fogs.

you want the 35w slim ballast kit, size H11. Order 2 sets. (one for lows and one for fogs, they are the same bulb) It comes with the bulbs and the ballasts, you can't just buy the bulbs and plug them in to your stock wires.

Using HIDs for highs is useless, unless it's just for show or you plan on driving without oncoming traffic. HIDs have to "heat up" when you first turn them on meaning their light output for the first few seconds isn't very much. Also keep in mind that HIDs don't like to be flicked on and off in close succession.

If you just want the highs to "match" the lows, just get some nice 55w silverstar halogens from autozone or whatever and you will be good to go.

If you have leather / premium package and you already have hids then you just need the bulbs, which are NOT h11 for leather packages. Its d2r or d2s or something. Non premium package is h11. I heard you dont need the slim balasts but I got em anyway just in case.
