Okay, I poked around a bit, not to much, but where did they hide the port to read the codes on this badboy??? 96 I30t... The CEL came on today so I need to plug in the trusty ol laptop and see whats wrong... I have a hunch what it is, but would like to make sure before I go replacing parts willy nilly...

TIA,

Heath

Thanks, I looked in there, but it looks so much different from the one in my Ford I wasn't sure if it was it or not... I hope my plug fits it... LOL...

Dosen't fit, I'm trying to get ahold of the company now to see why... I was under the impression that I purchased one that would work for all rides...

As for Superiority, I'd like to see this Infiniti climb a mountain like my Ford... Its all in what you need your vehicle to do...

Regarding your "laptop" OBDII reader. Ford uses proprietary code and plugs. Nearly everybody else (except certain euro mfgs and GM) use ISO specifications and interlacing. A "standard" (non-Ford) plug will get you into the hardware, the software is different (I believe the industry call is 'enhanced')
