The dealership. Just place the orders for them. They might be a little bit pricey but you can compare their price to Courtesy Nissan's and see if it would be worth buying them.

Yeah I think their price $355 is such a rip off though. It should really be a crime to charge that much. LOL Then again I don't see the dealership prices being much different from that of Courtesy's because I went to my dealership last month and I got a quote for a few of the parts and these were the prices: Switch cost was $102.60, Bezels cost $25.81/each. These things aren't cheap and I never got a quote for the lamps but I would suppose that they aren't cheap either. Every time I've come across something to do with the prices for those things the lamps always cost way more than the other parts.

That price is a bit too much just for lights. I had to get them because I didn't want to waste the space and wires dangling around in the engine bay. It's worth it IMO.

OEM parts is like gold, so precious.

Do any of the non OEM fog light kits connect to the pre-wired SL's..?

I'm planning on ordering some fogs this weekend (not the $400 OEM ones) and I haven't seen any that do but if anyone has it would be cool to know. The only think I like about having the aftermarket fogs is that I can keep my fogs on with my brights for extra lights!

it is very simple to do.

Buy the OEM Stalk and splice the aftermarket fogs into the Versa's oem fog wiring

I picked up the OEM type (not US) ones off eBay. they were like 100 bucks and fit perfect! The harness is SOOOO simple. Just pop in the switch next to your dimmer and 2 wires, your done! The entire job took me 60 min and 30 of that was cutting out the trim piece to look perfect.

Hey VersaMG08 those are nice. Did you just put a film on the lens to give it the yellow look? Where did you purchase those fogs and as well as the stalk switch?

With lamin-x:

You can buy the fog kit on ebay, i bought my kit in brazil but i saw it on ebay.

It's a high quality kit and very cheap.

The only thing tha don't fit are the bezels, they are made for chinese tiida/latio, so you will have to cut your original bezels or buy a new set of cutted on nissan dealer.

Look what i found on ebay, ask the seller if this kit is made by DLAA.

Found this too:

Could I ask one Questionyou may have already answered it and i just missed it

but do the Tiida lights plug into the prewired Versa fog connectors

if so then all one would need is the switch and the correct trim "Fascia" pieces

Thank you

My Tiida isn't prewired so i can't tell you if it will work.

I used the wires of the fog kit to do the installation.

EDIT:

I was looking at the photos of my fog kit and i can tell you that if the prewired is made for h11 bulbs you can buy the fog kit cause the plugs are made for h11 bulbs.

I don't know what is the bulb type of original kit.

On ebay there is a seller that have only the fogs to sell but i'm not finding it.

I think the original bulb is H8, you can check if the H8 and H11 bulbs have the same plug.

Sorry my english please.

I do believe the headlights plugs are different, I would assume the fog light connectors would be as well.

just go with the aftermarket ones like most of the people on here. They all turn out very well and save you cash for some other things to add to the car.

Where did you get the fog lamp switch. How do you take apart the headlamp switch to insall the fog lamp switch. Where do the two wires hook up. Do the lights hook up to the pig tails up front behind the covers.

here's is what I just did

Courtesy nissan for the switch $58 and changealso the fasia pieces ( or you can cut the fake fog thingys that are on your car ) they just pop off two tabs on either side as I found out when that durned armadillo knocked mine off and started my quest for the real lights

the Fascia pieces are $17 for one side and $16 for the other dont ask me why they just are

then shipping

ok Courtesy wants $130 for the lamps here http://www.courtesyparts.com/n...6382&

and $120 here http://www.courtesyparts.com/2...6382&

I found these guys who SWEAR their aftermarket lamps will bolt up and plug into the harness just like OEM and they want $169 for a pair and free shipping http://www.1aauto.com/1A/fog-l.../2009

I plan on putting them on over the holidays

I'll let you know how it turns out

oh and there is another tread that tell how to disassemble the steerign wheel cover to access the switchit really is just two screws on either side under the wheelbottom falls awayunsnap the old switchsnap in newput screws back

as the gecko says " easy peezy "

ok well every thing is hereArrived this afternoon its a bit dark to start on and the new lamps didn't come with the screw to hold em on should be able to find a metric tomorrow

stuck one lamp in the hole and the harness does clip right on

I'll hook em up during lunch tomorrow

got all my tools at work

oh and the wiring harness out to the light is clipped to the inside of the bumper i dont think you are supposed to snatch that clip off, gave me a lot of slack in the wire but.........

we'll see how the other side works before we judge

ok donewould post pics but it looks as if installed at factory

lights are clear and whiteEdit: I suppose one could put some colored cellophane between the light and facisia to create the blue or yellow or pink or what ever accent color one desires , I didn't

DO NOT snatch wiring harness clip off fender wall !!the wad of wire is taped together just above the pluga gentle tug on the plug will cause the tape to release

getting the plastic cover from around the steering column is a bit interesting tooafter screws are removed ( there are three by the way) there are internal plastic clips that need to be dislodged

pushing top half one way while tugging bottom or using a pocket knife to wedge them apart

careful not to gall the edges of the plastic with the pocket knife

all together it took 25 min in the parking lot at workthat includes having to reopen the vallance panels underneath to retrieve lost hand tools

Editokto remove the valance covers under fogs you will need a 10mm wrench/socket/nutdriver

the bolts that hold the light in are 5mm X ,08 X 25mmthat 25mm long is an estimate the ones i found at the shop were 35mm long and cut them in half

your local hardware store will probably have them for 15 cent ea or you could get em from the courtesy site for a buck each
