im in the market for a sr20det and have done alot of research. the only question i have is how do i get one tuned? i see tuned ecu's for sale on ebay, none of them are what im looking for. dont really want to spend a grand on a power fc, plus i guess i wont be able to use that to tune it myself anyway. can a shop tune my ecu like the ones on ebay. if so how do they do it and why cant i? whats the typical cost to have your ecu tuned?

King Motorsports should be able to handle it.http://www.kingmotorsports.comThey mainly deal with hondas, but I don't see why they would have any problem with other cars. They do good work over there.

I'm trying to think of some other good shops around here...

There have been a lot of bad tunes. It seems like he has a couple good maps, but when it comes to out of ordinary setups there are problems with the tunes he 'makes'.

Many recommend steering clear.

Have you checked out Enthalpy?
