In my '91 240sx, I have a power steering leak and I think it is coming from a hose. When I search for power steering hose, or go to my local parts store, I always come up with the same hose:
Pressure from Pump to steering rack, exc. 3dr h/back w/ HICAS 4-wheel steering Year: 7/1990-1/1994 $157.46
This is not the hose I need. I can't even figure out where this hose is supposed to be under the hood! I am looking for the two rubber return hoses that go from the reservoir to the pump. I think they are called return hoses. I can't seem to find any info on this. I assume from reading other posts that these are generic hoses. Is there a specific name or part # for these hoses or will any hose do the job? No, I'm not doing the SR swap, and no I don't want to disable anything.
Also, can anyone give some details on using Dextron auto tran fluid as opposed to Lucas or any other brand-name power steering fluid?
Where can I find power steering return hoses?

The return hoses run from the P/S resovior to the pump. The resovior is bolted to the drivers side inner fender, is about the size of a Vienna Sausage can. The hose youre looking for is a small "S" hose that runs out the bottom of the resovior to the pump, and another that runs down to the metal return line situated very nicely in the front crossmember. Hopefully thats helping. Both are generic. Just don't pinch 'em.
