My friend has a base model 2008 350z. I'm trying to find the nismo body kit that comes on the NISMO 350z.

Anyone know where I can find?5

i will go out on a limb and say the same dealership as he bought the car. Be careful though the suspension is not as tight as the real NISMO therefore the amount of clearance may be risky on a base model suspension when riding over bumps..

I have a nismo catalog but it only has the s-tune body stuff for the Z's. If I had seen this post the other day I could've asked the dealer when I was there today what they cost.

I did notice a nismo Z in their showroom though. Those things are gorgeous.

As for the S-tune prices it would come to $1740 for the whole thing. Unless they sell the side skirts individually (odd but possible) then add another $470.

So if you are lucky it might be close to that price for the Nismo kit. Maybe $2k for the whole thing or so. Best thing to do is call and ask a dealer.

You know a factory body kit is gonna cost a crap load more than an after market one. Tell your friend to find one that he really likes after market. $1700 is a lot and even if its a factory color it wouldn't look right unless you have someone hit it with blender (for the paint). That would run you at least another $200 at a local body shop. You could probably find a sweet bodykit online somewhere for about $1200 and have it fully painted and blended for about $500 or less (factory color) at your local body shop. Well just tell them you were gonna do it your self and you were wondering if it only cost about $400-$500 you would have them do it. It only costs them about $100 in material if that.

uhh he wants the kit that is on the nismo 350z.

With the rear diffuser, front fascia, etc

yeah definately I cant find online. Seems like no hookups. I'm just asking for my friend cause he doesnt know anything about cars and recently bought a 08 350z base and wants to put stuff on it.

Ill probably find out by calling the dealer or something.

bad news...

The nismo edition Z kit is strictly for the nismo edition z the rear diffuser, front fasica does NOT fit on the regular Zs.

Eh I have no wear to go lol does anyone know how the ARC diffuser looks like on the 350z I been searching the web but they only show one picture and you cant really see how it would look complete with the car.

i was wondering you said a nismo body kit will not fit a reg. z, i did not know that, however i may have a front fascia for sale (maybe), it has a couple of bad spots on it that can be fixed im sure, the dealer had to put a new one on it as it was a new retail car. i can see if this guy that has it will sell it if you found that it does fit a regular z let me know.

I wonder why the Nismo body kit won't fit a normal Z? They looked to be pretty close when I saw one the other day.....

Maybe different bolt patterns? Easily fixed.

Im not sure but i think that i will set a regulaar z and a nismo frt end out and see if it can be done i bet it is just the inside foam stuff that will be difrent i can not see why nissan would make the same car but diffrent frt chasis (thinking) that both are made on the same jig my thoughts anyway i will let you know if it where posible, however suspension stuff is set diffrent on the nismo z and so forth, and i might just look at the new retail nismo on the lot capared to a regular z and see whats up with them

ok you can say that now but before you where trying to give me an alternative BEFORE me finding out the nismo edition z kits don't fit on regular z.

what does that tell me when your calling me a jackass? Screw what im looking for? You can keep crying cause Im probably not going back to his thread after some inputs that I found out today.

Anyways. I found out you can make it fit on the pre 07 zs. so 06 and down. Its not gonna be a direct fit and custom brackets have to be installed for the front. So actually it can be made to be direct but a little work is gonna be put to it.(Precision Z had an 05 Z that had a nismo edition kit conversion)

Also the 07+ are different from the pre 07s its hard to say just because its possible to fit on the 06s and down doesnt mean its gonna fit on the 07+.

So thanks all that helped. Im looking at another setup for my friend. If anyone wants to do the Nismo edition coversion on a pre 07 try giving Precision Z a call. This is no low budget conversion. The rear diffuser ALONE cost 2500. Its also hard to get these parts in hand most of them are backordered. Try giving the parts department at buena park nissan a call for the nismo edition kit parts (last time I called seemed like they had it). Be specific cause there are other nismo kits.

thats all I got to say pretaining to the topic just incase anyone else was intrested. I dont want to argue with rmezz cause its stupid.

I am excited to find out that it can actually be done. I wonder if precisionZ would be so nice as to release info on what exactly needs to be done.

Either way, more info to be stored in the closet till later use.

the only difference in the nismo Z chassis si the additional welds and dampers, the nismo dody parts are sold at dealers as they have to be able to replace wrecked ones and they will fit a normal 350 you might need the whole kti to work together and maybe you'll need to drill a couple holes but the chassis come off the same line the nismo just gets extra welds and bracing, I am quite sure these aorts are stupid expensive and personally think they are ugly, if you friend wants a nismop trade that 08 in on a used or holdover 07 nismo and be done with it,a nd to prevent further name calling I'm locking this thread, if you can't disagree without resorting to name calling post elsewhere
