Hello!

I´m living in Sweden and have a broken speedometer ( burnt) . I haven´t used this car for 6 years but naturally it has to be fixed to pass this year. BUT: in Sweden there are only two Nissan 240sx that I know of and I can´t really get any help since they want to order some part from Japan ( new ) to a very costly price that would take 4-5 weeks to get here.... Can anyone point me in the right direction and give me some links where I can find used parts for this car - for shipping? I was thinking to buy the whole instrumental panel somewhere much quicker, cheaper and easier. Then we can just swap it - or changing the speedometer from it. Since my car only has 9000 miles - I would rather not change it even if it can be documented. But that depends on how easy that is.

I have been saving this car for my son waiting for him to take his driving license - and the only remaining thing is the speedometer that the garage want to order from Japan and would take 4-5 weeks just to get it - very expensive too. That money is much better spent having fun with the car, ordering details and stuff.

Grafetul for tips :)

/ Nina

Why don't you go to ebay or search on google. You can find cheaper one.

Do you need Metric or "English" Mileage? It really does make a difference! Note that "English" speedometers have semi-hidden Metric calibratation marks on the instrument face, which may make a "pass" depending on how many Aquavits you can get the inspector to drink before making up the pass/fail decision.
