Ebay bro. you want a bluebird engine. Most come strapped to a AWD transmission but will bolt up to the SR20 trans. It will run you the same as a 240sx SR20DET. around 2500 for a full clip. you may be able to find one out of a clip. There was a dude on NWN that had one. I don't know how much of the engine set you need but I know he had the block.

All you need is the engine. Forget getting a front clip for $2500. eBay engines are 'buyer beware' at best.

Soko in California carries Bluebird, Avenir and GTi-R engines for less than that. Soko is also in Chicago. Lose the AWD transmission and bolt up to your FWD SR20 transmission.

Im doing all the searching I can right now on turboing Sentras, cause while I want to buy a blown SE-R and swap it, i thought why not save up and get a bluebird.

I have one ?. You guys said bolt it up to the Se-r transmission. wouldnt that (especially with simple stuff like turbo back exhaust and intake) quickly ruin the transmission? What do you guys do about the trans.

No, the stock transmission can hold turbo power, just replace the clutch.

I believe RED_DET is running a stock SE-R transmission on that 278whp hybrid SR20DET.

The stock transmission is reliable until you get over the 300whp mark. I am on my second transmission, but thats because my original transmission finally developed 5th gear pop out. I have put at least 30k on this transmission. I run redline heavy weight shock proof gear oil, ES motor mounts at all four points. But it really comes down to how you drive. 3rd gear is the weakest link. 300whp is alot of power, not only does a transmission become an issue, but driveability after that point is out the window as well. Because you need one hell of a clutch to hold that power. I will have to upgrade my clutch in the very near future.
