Where can I find a RB25 transmission?

Where can I find a resonable priced R33 Rb25 transmission?....I am having the worst luck finding one for a reasonable price. Help would be great.

They go for $400-600 all day long in Japan. Have the connection out there to get the parts, but something that size and weight are just to much to send without a crate. I know how much shops are getting them for out in Japan that is why I am not willing to spend that much. Thanks for the offer any ways.

Right now I an Rb25 transmission that went out. Problem is I have to replace the 3/4 bualk rings, sleeves, front main shaft, syncro spring clips, and a few smaller parts. $600 in parts and another $250-300 in labor. So right now I am just seeing what is out there. If I can find something that is a cheaper route then I will do it. If not then I will just fix mine.

I have seen them sell for $600 every once and a while.

I am looking for the $700-800 shipped range.

hmm that blows. I bought mine from them when they were in cali still. now they are out of georgia I think. But he didnt want to slit the rb25 engine set but I told him it was for a built 26 and he had no problem then. His brother or something like that had a rb swap. Maybee the owner changed but the still sell stuff at fair prices and always emmed to bend over backwards to help me. what ever. I will look a few other places. I know somebody that had a spare in mn. I will try to find his #.

Try calling Jarco, they drive the cars in Japan, then cut'em up. I bought a R33 K-Frame from them. Great price and great conditon. Only down side is the car was still whole in Japan when I ordered, had to wait about 8 weeks to get it.
