Where can I find a low milage KA24DE. My existing engine is eating oil and at times, you can smell the oil in the car and its annoying. Dunno what it is, but I'm tryin to search and find out. So far, from what I've gathered, it could be the oil rings, pcv, and valve seals. I don't get burnt off some idling, so i dunno if its the valve seals. Only time when I can see the blue smoke from my exhaust is from riding on the clutch from 1st after a stop. Anyways...I want to rebuild my engine, but don't have time, so I will need something running then rebuilding the engine on the side. Anyone know where I can get a lower milage KA or perhaps a jdm KA where I can jus swap in and run reilably for awhile until my engine is rebuilt. Thanx...

no problem, and as for the motor you have now... I'd say repleace the head gasket, get a new timing chain kit and replace all that stuff that includes timing, and the oil pump, repleace the valve seals, and valve cover gasket, and spark plug seals and after all said and done finish it up with a full tune-up, cap, rotor, plugs, wires.

sounds like a lot of money and work but really its not all that bad and if can't find a better motor then i would say fix yours and replace everything i listed above.
