What are you removing? Throttle body? Valve covers? Or are you talking about the automatic transmission valve body?

Ah, sorry.

I'm not sure if there's a video anywhere, but here's the FSM for the 03 G sedan auto trans: https://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G35/Sedan/2003/at.pdf

So I found a video on youtube
https://youtu.be/8vix6lxXfXY
But this guy has the transmission removed to access a clip on the top.. does that mean I have to drop the tranny??
Is there any other way to fix this 1772 it's such a freaking hassle

The valvebody can be removed without removing the trans.

I'm assuming the clip is for a wiring harness, but I wouldn't sweat that right now.

I'm not sure I understand your last post: "I know some you dont because coolant flows thru it" ???

Coolant doesn't flow thru the trans - the ATF flows thru the radiator, though. You shouldn't need to disconnect any of those lines, since the VB is inside the pan.

Gonna be honest here, I don't know your level of expertise, but swapping a VB on a modern auto trans isn't a cakewalk. Hate to see you get it gutted and then be stuck.
