where can i find 2nd gen q45 struts?

my dad's 97 q45 has 100k on the original struts and they need to be replaced. I cant find any supplier that has them except the dealer. any suggestions? Thanks

That is true. I've got a set of 4 OEM shocks and struts for about $550 from Everythinginfiniti.com or Pinnacle Infiniti website. There's should be a link somewhere in these forums. I think my local dealer would ask for atleast $700-800. There is no aftermarket or performance shocks and struts for the FGY33's, unless special ordered from Japan. In fact, the ONLY aftermarket parts I've found for the FGY33's so far were:1. Oil filter2. Fuel filter3. Air filter (more expensive than OEM)4. Antenna mast5. PCV valve6. Brake rotors (not Brembo)7. Thermostat (Stant)8. Lower springs (Eibach - discontinued, Tein - imported from Japan)

There're probably a few more I've forgot, but not much.

I also have failed to find any except from the dealers. According to one dealer I talked to, the standard and touring models use the same replacement struts.
