Where can I download music for free?

My computer will not install Kazaa for some reason, it goes through all of the steps, but at the end, it says it was not installed...is there anything else I can use that won't screw up my computer, and is free?

you can give Limewire a shot, my friend got a bunch of music off there. I also got a few songs.

I use winmx free and works good.You share files with everyone so it's all good.Gotten close to 600 songs now

Use Bitorrent or Soulseek. Soulseek is much more community oriented.

Limewire doesn't really have anything and Kazaa just gets you a bunch of f'ed up songs (even with KLite K++)

I ONLY use bearshare to find rare or live stuff that CAN"T be purchased in stores. I'm a musician, so I'm NOT a big fan of stealing music. With that being said... they have anything and everything you can think of.
