where can I buy this ball joint? hicas rear spindle

I have a 91 240 with hicas,I am in the process of changing all the ball joints on my car because well... all my boots are torn/gone.

Does anyone have a moog part number? Or some after market choice other than OEM.Here are pics, they arent mine but from an old thread I found zerothread/329423

I could of swore back when I was modding my car weekly that an Altima front steering ball joint could be used. I would definitely suggest looking into what years work and IF its even a valid solution but using a front joint would give you options into aftermarket parts because I'm sure you've found out that most parts stores look at you like "WTF mate?" when you say you have a car with HICAS.

hm... didn't actually think of seeing if it fit in another car's front ball joint.

i'll have to take a look at the altima's parts catalog. maybe i'll call the dealer tomorrow and ask them if they will tell me what car's the balljoint will fit.

I work at Checkers like 1 day a week and well... lol. all i gotta say about that store.

it makes more sense to replace the entire control arm in the front. 115 for both at pdm racing in burnaby canada or buy at rock auto

the ball joints are not sold for rear. there is a thread about using ball joints from another car for the rear. that thread might be at zilvia.net

part number 55154 at courtesy parts is for the hicas steering ball joint. the main rear ball joint for rear control arm is not sold separately.
