I'm looking to purchase a FSM for a 1991 240SX. Problem is, I can't find where to buy one--I've searched the forumns and run amazon/google/ebay searches. Nothing :-/(Well, okay, I found an FSM PDF doc, but this isn't the same as a book :-)

I also searched http://www.nissanmotors.com, but they seem all general-consumer-oriented and have _no_ support for the 240 ... 13 year old car, I know :-)

Anyway, if anyone knows where I can buy/order a FSM for a 1991 240SX.... also, what about TSBs?

Looking for 'FSM' produces few results.Looking for 'Factory Service [Manual]' (on eBay) produces a good number.

About $70 shipped is the cheapest I've seen an FSM for a 91. I've also been looking for one, but too cheap to buy one right now.

I called Nissan Publications and they sell them for $85. I'm assuming that doesn't include S&H in the price. I can get the number if anyone wants it.

I believe that does include S&H. It's the same price you'd pay from the dealer. IMO, it's worth it for an actual paper copy of the manual (as opposed to a CD).

I called a local dealer and they said it would be about a $150. I nearly fell over when I heard that. And the $70 i was talking about was for a paper copy, not a cd.

Wow, that's crazy. Either a) the price just went up, b) the dealer is marking stuff up a hell of a lot or c) they're talking about the official CD version and not the paper one.

I just got my FSM a month or two ago, and I think it was$70-something dollars. Well, not entirely sure of the price anymore, but it sure wasn't > $90.

Nope, I asked them and they said it was the book, not a cd. They told me to check the internet and look around, so I have no idea why the price is so high. If they were marking it up a lot, you'd think they'd want me to buy it from them and not "look around". But then I called the Nissan publisher a few days later and they said $85. But the one on ebay is the best deal I've found so far.

What about a Redtop SR20 FSM, I cannot seem to find one of those anywhere. Got any ideas?

Thanks

There was a discussion on FA about the SR swap manual and it was agreed that it was virtually useless and the people who wrote it did it poorly.

I too just bought the FSM from the progear. It shipped yesterday from upstate NY and I'm in the next state over (NJ). It should be here soon.
