Where are my stock amps?

I've taken half of my car apart and I still cannot find the front amplifier. I drive a 1995 240sx SE and am trying to redo my stereo setup. Does anyone have any idea where the amplifier may lie? I can take pictures of any areas if desired.

I think the amps for the "active" speakers ar in the door behind the speakers.

Yep, both the front and rear amps are below the rear speakers. After going through the amp, the front speaker wires go back through to the front. I'm almost done and will post a writeup of my stuff along with pictures later tonight.

if you take the amps apart the wires are labeled on the circuit board as to what they do.if that makes it easier.
