Just got my Raybestos Z32 brake master cylinder kit and need fitting to connect a brake line. I don't wanna destroy my old Z32 m.c just to get that fitting which I could use it as a core.

So Im wondering where could I get this fitting? and how it looks like so I can have an idea whenever I go and buy one. Any inputs will b appreciate it

yeah... I have seen a lots of treads where people do that. I did it once and end up messing fitting lol. Found on another tread and easier way to take it out of bmc without messing it up. I might try that if I can't find a fitting or an adapter at this hydroulic shop here in kissimmee, florida. They also make custom brake lines so I'm assuming thay will have something or make me something to solve this issue lol. Thanks by the way.

Ight to make it easy for you guys this is the adapter you need so you dont have to brake your old b.m.c just to get fitting (use your old b.m.c as a core so u can save some $$$ make sure to remove reservoir and I believe the 2 rubber washers or plugs whatever they are lol were the reservoir hooks up into b.m.c. Unless u wanna buy whole kit and spend about $85 extra) Havent install b.m.c yet but once I do it Ima come back here and let yall know if it worked fine which I don't c why not.

I ended up buying 2 adapters cuz the vendor of this hydraulic shop didn't have or sell that specific adapter with the specific thread needed. Here's the print out on my receipt...

Thread Adapter: 10 X 1MM - 3/8 X 24NF

Thread Adapter: 3/8 X 24NF - 10 X 1

H/D Copper Washer Pack 10MM ID

*** I think brake line screws into the 10 x 1MM.
So pretty much if u can find an adapter that its 10 x 1MM - 10 x 1MM you'll be set. No need to use 2 adapters just to go metric. Im sure they sell them. They need to see b.m.c so they can get u the right adapters tho. If I remember Ima take pics of them and post them here after I get off work so u can see how adapter looks from both ends.

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG!

*** If you live in Kissimmee/ F.L contact Tubes N' Hoses of Osceola @ 407-933-8502 & talk to Shawn. That's were I got my adapters. If not just go to a Hydraulic shop and bring your b.m.c I'm sure they'll have the adapter you need, or at least they could get it next day or same day for you.

I have a z32 bmc and didn't have to use any fittings. Does it make a difference what year? My car is an 89 (used to be an auto) and 95 z32tt bmc.

probably your Z32 bmc had fitting in it already if u bought it remanufactured.

By the way. Just installed and I didn't need to use any of this adapters or fittings at all. Dont know why people make things more complicated than they look like. And spending time searching what options you got lol.

I took it to a shop and all they did was cutting the tip of the brake line and with this tool they shape the tip of the brake line with the correct shape so it can fit properly inside the bmc without using fitting. Sor far its not leaking and its braking fine.
