I was driving down the highway and I see a car LITERALLY bouncing around as if six kids were jumping on the bumper. I think what the hell is going on in there? I look closely and its only the driver. I watch a little longer and I simply can't believe what I'm seeing. Every time he hits a slight bump, change lanes, or touch his brakes, the car starts bouncing around like crazy for a good 30 feet, I even saw the tire leave the road once. I was dumbfounded. He happened to be getting off at the same exit, a two lane off ramp. I pass him and stop and said to myself, I can't let this go without saying something, maybe he simply just doesn't know. I backup on the exit ramp and wind down my windows and said, "you know your rear suspension is done?" He replies, "what?" I said, "You're bouncing down the highway like a basketball, you need to get your suspension fixed before you kill yourself or someone else." He said, "yeah, my brakes are bad, every time I touch them the rear bounces a little." "No it's not a little, and no it's not your brakes, its your suspension, you shouldn't be driving that. If the police saw this they'd take you off the road." He says ok thank you as the line of cars that built up behind us on the off ramp started blowing their horns.

Not that you need to know exactly whats wrong, but doesn't something tell you something SERIOUS is wrong with your car if your rear wheels are sometimes catching air on a normal road? Some people should not have cars.

A big factor around here is people driving cars they really cannot afford to repair/maintain.

Its sad, cos if the guy knew how to work on cars himself, he could probably fix the damn thing for around $100. Instead, he'll probably get charged upwards of $600 to have a garage do it.

You should see the cars around Central Michigan, especially the Big Rapids area. People don't seem to give a f*** if they've hit a deer, as long as it goes forward, they continue to drive it as if nothing happened.
