I personally polish mine as soon as I get the first free weekend. I wouldn't use anything too abrasive. Old timey lacquer paints had to "cure", but new paints don't.
Really if you think about it, after your car rolls off the assembly line, it is a while before it is shipped, delivered and sold to you. I just put the 4th coat of Zaino on my Z. If any of you fellas need a mirror to shave in, you can use my car.

I agree with our Z sister! I also use Zaino products and have been very satisfied with the results!

Z2 Polish
ZFX quick cure accelerator
Z6 spray
Z10 leather conditioner
Z7 car wash
Clay bar from autozone or wallmart...I think Meguirs sells one
It's not cheap, but you will be impressed with the results...and the polish lasts forever!

Just got my roof & trunk repainted and the hand out they give says to wait 30 days. Like stated earlier, yours most likely is well over 30 days old! You can check in the door jam for the bday.
