Drivers side which can be reached with 02 socket and two long extensions from the top of the motor where the 02 sensor harness is located by the EGR also! Pre-spray with PB or other rust sprays and unplug harness first because it will wrap around extensions while turning so follow the rotation of the socket and extension with the 02 wire!

The side they're referring to is related to the driver's position when sitting in the car. So as you're driving... the left side of the car is the driver's side.

Helpful to remember on all sorts of things...

As long as you are not in a drive on the left-hand side of the road country!

In the U.K. (among other places), you sit on the right side seat and drive on the left side of the road.

Actually I guess that explains why they use "Left" and "Right" instead of "driver's side" and "Passenger's Side" when writing the manuals! Never thought of it before. That way, no matter what side of the car you're sitting in (as long as you're facing forward) - the left side is still left, and the right side is still right.

The cylinder numbering starts with the left side which is all odd.
