When should timing chain be replaced?

At what mileage should you replace the timing chain in a '97 240?Also is there anywhere online that I can obtain a copy of the factory service manual?

You can try http://www.zilvia.net, as for the timming chaing, my 93 has 165k miles on it and still running strong on original timming chain.

^ is right... replace it when it needs replacing. There are a bunch of tell tail signs that will give you plenty of time to react before (not like it ever happens much anyway) a chain breaks...
