T-minus 40 min and counting...
Im up early cause I couldnt stop thinking about my car, Shes hitting the road for the first time since November. I cant wait to drive her to the inspection shop.
I was out all day yesterday fixing her up. Attempting to put in my mechanical water temp gauge from autometer and getting my dashboard squared away (in pieces)
Well the gauge went as planned... didnt work at all... The thread size for a block plug is 10mm with a 1.25 threading for future reference... I couldnt find that info out before for the life of me. and my 3/4 autometer sensor wasnt about to fit thru that. so finnally thinking over my options I decided its only posible to bore out the block or mount elsewere. so I think Im goin to the Rad hose Like all you guys...
GOOD NEWS! I didnt finnish the install but I filled her back up and started her, and (knock on wood) she didnt over heat yesterday!!!! that was a big problem last time I had her started over winter break. the nismo therm. is keepin her nice and cool too, deff see a differnce on the stock meter. so I hope I bled the system correctly this time.
My 17mm transmission bolt I broke changing the mount will hopefully be drilled out today, and I'll be leagal...
Oh yea, Wed... 2 way Diff time... Im so excided... I just had to share...

lol go for it bro,im kinda disappointed... my cars running great now, i even rushed all the registration renewal stuff today so i could have me car back tonight and be leagally driveable. unfortunatly someone "bumped" the emmission test machine... apparently its "touchy" incase someone tries to tamper with it... so now a guys gotta come tom morn and reset it. so my cars sitting there overnight... and i wont get her back till noon tom... (thats if she passes emission) :-X
i dont have that second cat (it looks like) under my car, just the one coming off the exaust manifold right after the pipe bends under the car... is that second canaster before the muffler a resonator? or is it honestly another cat? neone know... i really dont wanna put the stock exaust back on my car for 20 min, then replace it with my side pipe again...
