When is the Next Generation of EX35 Coming out?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi all.

This is my first post. I've always liked the look of the EX35, and am planning to get one in the (hopefully) near future. I'm wondering if I could ask you when the next generation of the EX35 will come out. The reason for my question is that, as I said above, I like its current look. So, if a new generation is coming out soon, then I'll make sure I'll get the current one before it's too late. In any case, I hope they don't plan to change its front grill to be big like that of the new M. Thanks.

2012 will be when we get the next EX. It will be just a little different looking and a little bit bigger, but no definite answer as to whether it will be a 35 or 37.

A bigger EX with more leg room in the back would be nice... I just hope they don't go too big so it starts to handle like a SUV or the FX. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your information from, in terms of when they are redoing the EX in 2012? I would love to read up more on what the future holds for the EX. Thanks! :-)

I have a couple of inside sources. But rest assured, the EX will remain "compact". Its will continue to be very closely tied to the G. More than the FX

Infiniti keeps close watch over leaks about future year changes and improvements. Fact is all of the luxury brand manufacturers do the same. I have been searching the net simply trying to find out when the 2011 EX and the 2011 HS250 (the entry level Lexus hybrid) will be released and have found - zip.

Wow, your internet research skills must be pretty weak. The HS250 has already been released and been delivered to owners. It has also been recalled as well.

It's the same model though! Not an "all-new model". And like any new model, September-October release would be expected every year.

KJ, you strive to be a smart a**, and you are half way there.
