I'm thinking about buying a G35...I was wondering when is the best time to buy a 05' or 06' G35 coupe and what is a good price for one?

Winter, and after the 07 is out. But if you find a good deal on an 05, jump!

I bought my 05 in March for 31,500 with 5k miles at a dealer. I think I got a decent deal

Hey thanks for the info. When do the 07' come out? And how much is a good deal if you don't mind me asking?

Always near the end of the month. If the dealership has not made their monthly quota yet, they get very motivated!

Now is a good time to buy. I just picked up an 05' G35 Coupe in Lakeshore Slate w/ Tan Interior for the woman. Its an automatic with the sport, aero and premium packages (everything buy Navigation), its got 14,000 miles on it and we got it for around $29,000 plus tax, title, and fees. Blue book was something like $34,500, so I feel like we got a pretty expceptional deal.

Check out Carmax if you have one in your area, they had quite a few listed that were excellant deals.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 04 coupe with 28K miles for KBB trade in. So, I think now is a good time for a pre-owned. Closer to when the new models come out would be better for a deal on an 06. Again, it depends on availability in your area.

The best time to start looking and getting prices is now. Do not buy until Christmas or New Years eve. Arrange financing ahead of time, and no trade in. Keep the purchase simple. Just the vehicle. Do your research on line.Visit multiple dealers for test drives. Initially go yourself. Get a price. Then go back with the wife. Go during the day. Then go back at night near closing time and test drive again. Then negotiate, negotiate, and negotiate some more. You start with dealer cost & negotiate up from there, not from MSRP down. Keep in mind that when you go out of your zip code that dealer is stealing you the customer from another dealer that is closer to your zip code. Every day that a vehicle sits in a dealer's inventory, it is costing them money. As long as the money is in your pocket you have power over that hungry salesmen. I believe the 2007's may be a little cheaper than the 2006's. Good luck, have fun & let us know how it goes?I bought my 2006 G36 6sp manual on December 31, 2005 from a dealer outside my zip code & saved over 3k over what the closest dealer wanted.

One of the best deals that I ever got on a used car was the day before the July 4th holiday!!! Got it for a few dollars below KBB trade-in. I eventually sold it a year later for more money than I put into it!. With Christmas and New Years coming up, I think there will be some good opportunities for the buyer. So, I think Telcoman knows when to buy!

I bought an '03 with 30k for $24k in July.

Depending on the year your looking to buy, sometimes just shopping around till you find the deal you want is all it takes.

I just searched Auto trader and cars.com for about 2 months... Eventually I came across my car... It had the kinda millage I want and was the cheapest Coupe 6speed in Texas that I could find listed online.

I had to drive 120 miles to buy it... but whats half a tank of gas when you save a couple grand.

I bought my car for 1100 below NADA trade-in value and $5000 below NADA Retail. Never buy anything at NADA retail.

NOW is the best time

there is a $1000 incentive on coupes currently

i would go now, and get one while selection is good instead of saving a few bucks and settling on something.

Hi, Just bought a 2006 G35X. To start, dealer was offering $4000 off any 2006 G35. I asked if he had the color I wanted - he did. I love it.
