I've been to the factory in Wolfsburg... there wasn't a mexican in sight. I do specifically remember watching them put wiring harnesses in, and thinking "...that's it?". There aren't too many clips or routing paths to hold them in place. It was a 100% manual operation as well.

Now, putting the dash on, THAT was impressive. They also have one of the most technologically advanced paint systems in the world.
