Hey guys. I'm putting new lights in the door (courtesy step lights).. the glove box.. and the liseence plate. All i want to know is when changing the bulbs I know you aren't supposed to touch the actual bulb. How do you avoid that? Do you wear gloves or something?

those bulbs usually don't get hot enough to be affected by the oils on your hands.

using a pair of cotton gloves is best when handling any bulb. You can find them at relatively any hardware/automotive store for $5-$10.

Actually, this is going to sound weird, but I use an old baseball glove. Keeps the oils off, and it fits tight like a second skin, so it's not slippery on the glass like cotton.

I just did the door bulbs, I noticied that they glow while driving alittlebit and when I got out they continued to glow a tiny bit after closingthe door. Anyone else notice this?

Yah LED lights will maintain a very miniscule amount of power....it won't drain your battery....this was discussed in some other thread ('s)....but thats what you get with LEDs!

I think we've found that the multiple LED bulbs don't glow when the car is off. I had some normal 1 LED bulbs, and they use to glow... then I put the 9 LED bulbs in, and the Glow was gone!

I've ordered twice from them and received both shipments in less than 4 business days after ordering. I recommend them highly and have had no problems with them or their products. ^_^
