wow!! If your sure that its only when the brakes are on, Their might be a crossed wire, but I doubt it. IDK thats a hell of a problem that requires testing.Do brake lights show while braking or is it only the turn signal

switch the bulb to the other socket..... the plugs are in the wrong spot

Are you using the correct light bulbs for the sockets?
