when changing wheels size do I need to do something with the ECU. Or have someone program someting in my computer?I upgraded from 17s to 19s and somehow I feel the car do lots of burnouts... especially when Im launching....Wasnt doing that with my 17s on....I Changed the pulley to UR pulles while I hanged the wheels but that doesnt mean that the pulleys gave that much more power. Its imposible....I do have more mods, and I had them be4.Any one had that happening to them?

The factory tire sizes are adjusted in height to correspond to the rim size.

That's why the 17s,18s, and 19s have similar if not the same width, but different aspect ratios. ie 225/55...225/50...225/40

The 19" G35 rims are very lightweight for their size, but they should still be heavier and have higher moments of inertia than the 17s.

So have fun...

One last thing. Did you put on the correct tire size? If you went with say a 245/30/19 in the rear, then that would explain why the tires are spinning so easily.

1st off, an SI is a waste of time.

Secondly, what kind of tires are on there?

That's really weird.

You have one of the lowest powered G35s (no offense meant) with the largest factory rims and relatively sticky tires and you're not keeping traction?

I'd drop the pressure in the rears to 32psi and see if you're still having the problem. You might also check the tread in the center of the rears. When I bought my coupe with the 19s, the centers of the rears were gone with decent tread on the shoulders.

My point was that the 03 sedan produced the least amount of power out of all of the models.

I don't doubt that it's powerful enough to break traction, I just think it's odd that the rest of us don't seem to have that problem with the 19s and we all have 40+ hp stock (although I think Infiniti under rated the 1st gen HP a little).

Other than the pulleys, what other mods do you have?
